Bodily Injury
The coverage that will be paid to others when you are at-fault.
Within policy limits, this coverage pays the amount you are legally obligated to pay
from an accident caused by you when another person is injured or killed.
Property Damage
The coverage that will be paid to others when you are at-fault. Within
policy limits, this coverage pays the amount you are legally obligated to pay for causing
damage to another person's property such as an automobile, home or fence.
Medical Payments
The coverage pays for medical expenses for you and the occupants
of your insured vehicle. The amount of coverage that is paid is determined by the amount
of coverage you choose for your policy.
Comprehensive
This coverage pays for repairs to your insured vehicle when the damage
has been caused by something other than a collision. Examples may include vandalism, fire,
windstorm, hail, or hitting a deer. Comprehensive usually pays to repair or replace
your damaged vehicle, minus the deductible amount you choose for your policy.
Collision
This coverage pays for repairs to your insured vehicle when it has been
damaged due to collision with another vehicle or object. Collision usually pays to repair or
replace your damaged vehicle, minus the deductible amount you choose for your policy.
Deductible
This is the dollar amount you must pay before claims are paid for
comprehensive and collision coverages. Each time you make a comprehensive or collision claim, you
will be required to pay the deductible amount. One thing to keep in mind when choosing
a deductible for your policy is that the higher your deductible amount is, the lower your
insurance premium will be.
Uninsured Motorists Coverage
This coverage protects you if another person causes an accident to
occur with you and they do not have automobile insurance. The other motorist must be
at-fault.
Underinsured Motorists Coverage
This coverage protects you if another person causes an accident to
occur with you and they do not have enough automobile insurance to cover all of the
damages to your vehicle or expenses for your injuries. The other motorist must be
at-fault.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)
This coverage will pay you or your listed beneficiary in the event of your death,
dismemberment or loss of sight as a result of an accident.
Towing and Labor
This coverage will reimburse you, up to a limited amount, for towing and labor expenses incurred by you if your vehicle becomes disabled at any location other than your residence.
Loss of Use
This coverage will reimburse you, up to a limited amount, for expenses incurred by you if you are unable to use your vehicle providing that the loss of your vehicle is covered under your insurance policy.
Roadside Assistance
This provides 24-hour emergency dispatch, through Nation Safe Driver, for towing (up to 15 miles), locksmith, emergency fuel delivery, flat tire, and battery services at any location including your residence. Also provides route maps for travel.
