Everest Security Insurance Company traces its roots back to an insurance brokerage in 1938. In 1979, the brokerage company was purchased and the name was changed to "New South Insurance Brokers, Inc". In 1987, the owners of New South Insurance Brokers, Inc. formed Southeastern Security Insurance Company. On January 1, 1988, Southeastern Security Insurance Company began writing business in Georgia. On January 18, 2000, Everest Reinsurance Company purchased Southeastern Security Insurance Company.

2001 - Southeastern Security Insurance Company changes name to Everest Security Insurance Company

2000 - Received "A+" rating from AM Best.

2000 - Everest Reinsurance Company acquires Southeastern Security Insurance Company.

1998 - Southeastern Security Insurance Company relocated to Alpharetta.

1988 - Southeastern Security Insurance Company began writing insurance business in Georgia. We focused our product line on automobile and mobile home insurance.

1987 - The owners of New South Insurance Brokers, Inc. formed Southeastern Security Insurance Company.
